OUTCOME: On May 1, 2026, the EDAM CAISO BAA Participation Rules project successfully implemented the operational business processes, supporting reports, and settlement calculation logic to meet both the CASIO EDAM BAA Participation Rules and Day-Ahead Sufficiency policy objectives. ISO Market Operators and CAISO BAA Operators are now equipped with the processes needed to evaluate and set Reliability Margins for net EDAM export transfer constraints, and to ensure CAISO meets its day-ahead RSE obligations prior to participating in inter-BAA transfers. Supporting settlement logic and configurations have been delivered through BPMs, supplemental artifacts, and deployed system changes, enabling full operational readiness for CAISO’s participation in EDAM
